Covenant Presbyterian Church’s 15th annual Alternative Christmas Market offers shoppers an opportunity to benefit local service agencies and do their Christmas shopping at the same time! Contributions to local and global organizations are acknowledged with a beautiful Christmas greeting card, describing the symbolic gift to the recipient. Examples include a doorknob for Clark County Fuller Center for Housing (Habitat for Humanity), clothing for human trafficking victims (Project Woman), a bag of groceries (Second Harvest Food Bank), or a Bible for an inmate in the Clark County Jail (Jail Chaplaincy Program). Ten different organizations will be represented. Credit cards are accepted for payment, and the event includes a complimentary lunch. Questions about the Alternative Christmas Market may be directed to the church office, 325-2427. Further information is available on the Covenant website, www.springfieldcovenant.org.
