Covenant Presbyterian Church will present a benefit performance to support Ukrainian citizens under attack, with donations going to support relief efforts in Ukraine.The event will feature award winning musicians from the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Diana Chuba, Pianist, from Ternopil, Western Ukraine is a doctoral student. Ms. Chuba is a winner of many international competitions and has performed in seven countries. Andril Isakov, Violinist, from Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, has competed successfully in ten competitions in multiple countries. Maksym Mahlay, Pianist and Composer, is a Slavic-American from Cleveland. The concert will begin at 2:00 pm in the Covenant Sanctuary, with open seating. The suggested donation for the concert is $15, however all donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Cash, check, or credit card will be accepted at the door. Checks should be made payable to Covenant Presbyterian Church: Ukraine Benefit. Donations will be evenly divided between Sergiy Prytula, Ukraine based Charity Foundation, (provides first aid kits, blankets, and medical supplies to soldiers) and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, which works with long standing partners in Ukraine and neighboring countries to provide medicine, shelter, food, generators, fuel, diapers, and psychosocial support to refugees.
