The Turner Foundation will present "Main Street Springfield," a multimedia concert by Champaign County native Scott Kirby, on Thursday, October 2, 7–9 p.m. at the State Theater, 19 S. Fountain Avenue. The program blends piano performance, storytelling, video, and original artwork to explore the American small-town experience, with special chapters on Springfield and its history. Selections of Kirby’s artwork, including a new piece of the Heritage Center, will be available for purchase. Tickets are $10, with proceeds benefiting the Heritage Center of Clark County.
